One of the lessons taught in the course Development of Library and Documentation Applications focuses on mastering content syndication techniques. Given its relevance for the management and control of information published on the web, content syndication can be applied in numerous documentary scenarios, such as the exchange of bibliographic records between libraries. This functionality, integrated into major integrated library management systems, would enable more complex processes, such as bibliographic control of collections in union catalogs or pre-cataloging through the transfer of bibliographic cards.
