Web analysis is one of the most complex activities for information professionals, largely due to the high level of instrumentation required. In this Prezi presentation, the concepts (Scientometrics, Cybermetrics, Informetrics, Webometrics, Webmetry, Bibliometrics) are reviewed, the core of web analysis research is defined, the relationship between citations and sites is explained, the framework for designing a web study is outlined, the tools for conducting analyses are presented, the working procedure is described, and the aspects subject to analysis are examined.
