Following the first cycle of lectures on Documentation Technologies, held in 2015, this year 2017 marks the second edition. As in the previous one, the Centro de História d’Aquém e d’Além-Mar of the Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa has made it possible for me to present topics of interest to all during my research stay.
The program will cover the AXYZ information surveillance system applied to public administration data, the development of web scraping techniques for data mining, the documentation professional’s knowledge of technologies, initial experiments with the GPAM metadata technology for describing documents in public administrations, and the development of procedural search engines.
