The distribution of AMPdoc information professionals' tools is beginning to have an impact in the fields of libraries, archives, museums, universities, and public administration. AMPdoc is about to surpass 1,000 downloads from various servers. Of these, 65% originate from Spanish-speaking countries, primarily Spain and Argentina. The remaining 35% come from the United States, Russia, and Canada. The reception among professionals has been excellent and is helping to bring open-source software closer to our sector. In addition to the thank-you samples, suggestions have been received that may be very useful for the development of future versions of AMPdoc. For example, new file management programs, pre-loaded modules for CMS, new web crawler applications, and specialized systems to assist in data migration tasks.
